We’re proud to continue our partnership with Ben Crossley Racing this season — and what a season it’s been so far! Despite a few twists and turns, Ben remains firmly in contention, just 65 points behind the championship leader.
The Mini Challenge is a motorsport category that offers an accessible and cost-effective entry point into competitive racing using MINI vehicles. Designed to bridge the gap between track day enthusiasts and professional racers, the Clubsport series allows drivers to race in modified road-legal MINI Coopers under a relatively simple and standardized set of rules. With a strong emphasis on driver development and close racing, the series provides a supportive environment for newcomers while still maintaining a high level of competition.
Typically run as part of larger motorsport events or club racing weekends, the Mini Challenge Clubsport features tightly matched cars that ensure the focus remains on driver talent rather than technical superiority. Cars must adhere to specific safety and performance regulations, including roll cages, racing seats, and other track-ready modifications, without becoming prohibitively expensive. This balance of affordability, fun, and competition has made the Clubsport class an increasingly popular choice for aspiring racers looking to sharpen their skills or transition into more advanced levels of motorsport.

Race 1: P2 – A thrilling battle, with Ben starting from pole and finishing just behind Chris Mackenzie after some hard-fought racing.

Race 3: 🥇 P1 – A perfect end to the weekend! Ben took the top step and recorded the fastest lap in the Sports class.
➡️ Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd – a complete podium set!
Oulton Park | 21–22 June
A special weekend as Ben celebrated his 18th birthday on track!
Qualifying: P3
Race 1: P3 – An intense battle for position saw Ben defending brilliantly to secure the podium.
Race 2: DNF – A sudden shower caught several drivers off guard. Ben, on slick tyres, hit a wet patch and spun into the gravel. A tough lesson in racing unpredictability.

Proud to be supporting The Tom White Trophy 2024 that is taking place on Saturday 13th in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance along with other local Charities.
We hope we’ll never need The Air Ambulance Service. But if we do, they’ll be there for us.
Their highly skilled paramedics, doctors and pilots work together to provide advanced clinical care to patients before flying them to the most suitable hospital giving them the very best chances of Survival and recovery.
Their vision is clear. They want children to grow into adults, they want adults to live longer and they want bereavement through trauma through trauma to become rare.
Each of the Air Ambulance services works tirelessly to save lives and alleviate sickness wherever and whenever possible.
Thank you for supporting this important fundraising event. amazing event to be supporting!!
After having 2 major knee operations in a year, with lots of knee drainage every week for 7 weeks and the going back in under the knife, life got hard with my mental health suffering as I wasn’t allowed to do the things I love. I know that by the time I am 50 I will struggle to walk. I work full time on our family farm and put in long hours and consequently can’t attend many outside events. I am lucky to have some amazing people around me to help get me through the hard times. However, I am more than aware what poor mental health can do to you. Laid up, on crutches, with no staff I needed something to focus on and came up with the idea of completing a 24hour Shearing Challenge.
